Railroad models are not toys.They are replicas of real trains. Therefore, railroad models and their accessories are intended for adult collectors.

Currency and Charges

All the items listed on the shop page defaults to Canadian Dollars (CAD). We charge GST/HST to customers in Canada, and in addition, PST for customers in BC. We do not charge sales tax to orders shipped outside of Canada. However, your local post/customs office may impose taxes/duties upon the import of your order. These additional charges are the customers' responsibilities. Sorry, we cannot undervalue your purchase on customs form. That is lying and we do not do that.

Return Policy

We are a very small business with very little margin to run on. Therefore, we charge a 20% restocking fee on all new, unopened, returned items. If your product is defective upon arrival, you may contact us for a refund, Regardless of the reason, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. It is recommended that customers choose a traceable, insured shipping method in case of loss or damage during transit.

Testing Prior To Shipping

To minimize the chance of shipping a defective item to you, we test the products before shipping. This testing includes a visual check of the items ordered, and the following:

• For railroad model: a electrical testing for 3 seconds or less for all cars that includes lighting and/or motor. Power is applied to the wheels but not run on tracks.
